ADS-B Flight Tracker Inauguration
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of
Technology inaugurated the
“ADS-B Flight Tracker – Real-Time Aircraft Surveillance and Tracking using ADS-B
Technology”
on 19 December 2025, jointly organized by the IoT Centre and 5G Innovation
Centre.

On 8th August 2025, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Coimbatore

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in collaboration with the
Department of Library, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, successfully organized an expert
talk titled
“Writing Quality Technical Papers for IEEE” on 29th July 2025 at LBCH.
The session was delivered by Mr. Dhanu Pattanashetti, Senior Client
Services Manager, IEEE, who shared valuable insights on technical paper writing, manuscript
preparation, submission procedures, and IEEE publishing standards.

internal faculty members for online presentation on March 4th.
• Second Round - A panel of 12 industrial experts’ shortlisted 78 teams for final round,
prototype development.
• The teams were given two weeks of mentoring by both industry and academic experts for
prototype development.
• Final Round was held on March 23rd , 2024. Three teams were short listed.
